How do I place a custom cake or cupcake order?
You can place a custom order by contacting us directly through our website, giving us a call at (970) 241-0033, or stopping by the shop. We’ll walk you through flavors, designs, and details to bring your vision to life.
How much notice do I need for a custom order?
We recommend placing custom orders at least 3–5 days in advance. For larger or more detailed cakes and cookies, more notice is always appreciated to ensure we can create something truly special for you.
Do you offer same-day or last-minute orders?
Are your products allergy-friendly?
We offer a variety of flavors that may accommodate certain dietary preferences, but our kitchen does handle common allergens like gluten, dairy, nuts, and eggs. While we take care in preparation, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Do you offer gluten-free or dairy-free options?
Yes! We often have select gluten-free and dairy-free options available. Feel free to ask our team what’s currently in stock or available for custom order.
Can I customize flavors and designs?
Absolutely! That’s one of our favorite parts. From flavor combinations to colors and themes, we love helping you create something that’s uniquely yours.
Do you make everything in-house?
What’s the difference between gelato and ice cream?
Gelato is made with more milk and less cream, giving it a smoother, denser texture and more intense flavor. Ice cream is lighter and fluffier due to more air being whipped in during the process.
Do you rotate gelato flavors?
We do! Our gelato selection changes regularly, so there’s always something new (and delicious) to try when you visit.
Can I order gelato for events or special occasions?
Do you offer tastings for custom cakes?
We don't like to bragg,
but our customers sure do...
Great ice cream and gelato stop! Tried a few of the lunch items and was very pleasantly surprised...the brisket mac-n-cheese was delicious, and the taco slaw was excellent.
Loved their variety of flavors of the gelato. They also have drinks & some food that would be a perfect balance when getting your sweet treats. I got their Smores gelato & Iced Matcha. The gelato’s texture was perfectly thick and the scoops were huge! I love their cute little high tables too.
There's absolutely no reason not to stop in here when your in Grand Junction. They have a nice wide variety of treats to satisfy anyone's taste and the prices are ridiculously low. I have a bit of an odd palate and the jalapeno mango tea was just quirky enough to fit the bill for me.
Super yummy! They had both gluten and dairy free options available!
Love this shop! They have the best sweet chai and a great breakfast burrito. Ice cream is great too and the staff is pleasant and consistent
My family and I stopped at Gelato Junction in Grand Junction, and this place deserves every bit of five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’re traveling cross-country from St. Louis to California, and this was one of the most surprisingly delicious stops on our journey. The fact that they have BBQ, pulled meats, nachos, wraps, gelato, ice cream, and a full bakery all under one roof blew me away — there was literally something for every single one of our kids. The BBQ from Colorado Q was tender, seasoned, and fresh. The loaded nachos were a favorite, and my son absolutely loved his chicken bacon ranch wrap (he said, “It’s good!” loud and clear 😂). The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and it all tasted homemade and comforting. Then we moved over to the dessert side — SO many gelato flavors, beautiful cupcakes, and a bakery display that looked like it belonged on a TV show. I got the tiramisu cupcake and it was soft, creamy, and perfection. The atmosphere was warm and family-friendly, and the kids were excited from the moment we walked in. It was the perfect stop during a long day of exploring downtown and watching the parade. Highly recommend if you’re traveling through Grand Junction or looking for a fun, delicious place with tons of options. We’ll definitely be back! 🍽️✨
Not the best icecream I've had. I could taste the ice in the icecream, like it was refrozen. Has a bbq menu even. Don't recommend rocky road icecream. Slivers of almonds and tiny marshmallows. Kid recommends the waffle cone.
Tried the Ube gelato which was a unique offering and tasted great!
Best waffle cone of all time. I would dump the ice cream out just to have the cone...JK the ice cream is good too
Delicious afternoon stop with very friendly staff. The oatmeal cookie ice cream was great! Lots of options too, even bbq.
My husband and I both loved their ice cream. They do have gelato but they also have ice cream. The lady who was working today was very sweet and kind. She had excellent customer service. The flavors they had were good and they even had dairy free options! I recommend this place to anyone visiting downtown on a very hot day!
